Combat Intelligence
What do you need to launch a successful military campaign? Well, you need combat intelligence, and combat intelligence is a wide and varied mixture, you need knowledge of the enemy for starters, but you also need intelligence about the weather (you don’t want to leave footprints in the snow or try an undercover campaign in the brightest moonlight of the year do you?), you also need to know about the geographical features of the land you’re going to come across – that can make a real “make or break” type of difference.
Combat Intelligence is the gathering of information and therefore intelligence which is necessary to plan and conduct tactical operations. Many areas of combat intelligence are constantly in need of updating. Anyone who has tried to plan a bbq or a picnic even a couple of days in advance will know only too well about the changing picture of the weather for starters, and enemies don’t stay where you found them, just to make life easy for you.
Combat Intelligence is a constant pursuit to hopefully keep you and your team of men at least one step ahead of the opposition.
