Do you have to be intelligent to successfully negotiate puzzles? Can puzzles help to increase your intelligence? Are you one of those people who could give David Copperfield a run for his money in the “now they’re tangled, now they’re not” stakes, or one of those who sits for hours fiddling with some bits of metal all tangled up together from a Christmas cracker or something which you Great Aunt bought you for a Christmas gift, pretending that you’re not really trying but pulling your hair out on the inside.

That’s a lot of questions isn’t it?

Anyway, the fact is that metal intelligence puzzles are very popular, some people find them infuriatingly simple and some people just find them infuriating. There are loads to choose from – the only time I’ve ever managed to do anything remotely like a metal intelligence puzzles I did it completely by accident and then didn’t know what I’d done and couldn’t get it back together again – sound familiar?  Fear not, next time someone buys you metal circles all entwined in the name of entertainment, just smile sweetly and say thank you – they make great paperweights.
